The largest private University in Ohio with 7,434 undergraduate students, University of Dayton focuses on providing its students with a well-rounded education within a challenging and supportive academic community.
The UD undergraduate program offers more than 70 degree programs in arts and sciences, business administration, education and allied professions, and engineering and law. To complement its academic offerings, UD recently invested $2.5 million in on-campus housing and amenities to create an adaptive living-learning environment for its students.
Additionally, UD's Division I athletics program provides exceptional opportunities for talented student athletes as well as for spectators.
According to an International Student Barometer survey, the University of Dayton ranks first in the nation in international student satisfaction. The UD Center for International Programs provides leadership, coordination, and strategic planning for the internationalizatio n of campus, while the International Student and Scholar Service and Intensive English Program helps fulfill the educational objectives of international students.
UD offers international merit scholarships which range between $5,000 and $25,000 per year to first-year and transfer undergraduate applicants. The University Honors Program and John W. Berry Scholars Program are additional channels for international student academic support and personal development.
