EEE-YFU Internship in Brussels
January – March 2007
EEE-YFU is looking for an intern for a period of 3 months, from January- March 2007, to be based in its office in Brussels, Belgium.
1.1.Job description
- Drafting applications and reports for European funding
- Co-ordination of European events
- Preparation of the monthly newsletter to volunteers
- Updating the website
- Assist in day to day running of the office
1.2 Position Appeal:
- Gain valuable experience in general office-related work in a European environment
- Possibility to gain insight in European youth structures and YFU operations.
- Attendance of conferences and seminars when relevant
- Opportunity to work in a European level organisation
1.3 Intern profile
- Experience with YFU and/or the youth field
- Knowledge of European affairs and structures
- Likes administrative work
- Fluent in English, French an asset
- Strong writing skills in English
- Computer literate
- Able to work independently
- Willingness to learn
- Flexible, enthusiastic and sociable
1.4. Conditions
Travel: The intern will pay his or her own travel from home country to Belgium. We will cover all work-related travel expenses.
Accommodation: The intern must find their own accommodation in Brussels. EEE-YFU will provide an accommodation allowance of up to 400euro.
Expenses and pocket money: All work-related expenses will be covered by EEE-YFU. In addition, the intern will receive an allowance of 300euro per month.
Your Responsibility: Return travel to and from Belgium; Medical and liability insurance, finding accommodation.
