CfP: 11th PREBEM Conference in the Netherlands

The 11th PhD Conference on Business, Economics and Management will take place in Breukelen, the Netherlands, at the Nyenrode Business Universiteit on Friday 19th March, 2010. PREBEM is a Dutch organization for PhD researchers in Business Economics and Management in the Netherlands and Flanders. The PREBEM Conference is held every one and a half years, aim to inspire the participants with new ideas and to foster contacts and collaboration among PhD.

The theme of the Conference is “Blurring Boundaries: Within and Between Organizations and Institutions.” Globalization has created new ways of doing business ,new institutions to oversee them, and has introduced a spectrum of new protagonists to the international arena. Scholars and practitioners have been challenged by this environment to find new ways to interact and, in the process, many of the traditional boundaries that have existed within and between organizations and institutions have become increasingly blurred. The PREBEM conference 2010 aims to shed light on this research stream.

The authors are invited to submit challenging and innovative papers addressing both theoretical and practical aspects of the scope of the conference (in English). PREBEM 2010 welcomes the contributions on the topic from the fields but not limited to economics; strategic management and organization; finance and accounting; marketing; human resources management; information systems; innovation, entrepreneurship and small business management.
