Dear friends,
"Group Magic Hands" located in Kirsehir-Middle Anatolia Turkey is preparing a youth exchange 1.1 between 24th and 30th August 2008. The name of the project is "Working with the magic hands".
The planned project is Action 1 youth exchanges. All accommodation and food costs will be covered 100 %, and travel expenses will be 70 % reimbursed according to youth in action programme. We need 5 participants + 1 leader from 5 programme countries. Working language will be English.
After giving this brief info about our project we would like interested organisations, groups, associations etc. to send us Part 3 forms until 30th of March since we are going to apply to our National Agency by April 1, 2008 deadline. We will select all organizations by 1 April 2008 and send all an email about the selection.
Part III is attached to the letter. Please fill in the form, sign and stamp it and send us via fax on 00903867126449 or 00903867126450 very urgently. The applications without signature and stamp will not be taken into consideration.

youth exchange: Action 3.1 instead of 1.1
Dear friends around europe,
i would like to ask to apply for 3.1 action (Youth in Action Program) instead of 1.1, because even if they are so similar and have the same procedures, we can in mediterranean countries ( like my country Jordan) participate in the 3.1 , while we can not in action 1.1 .
there are many youth in the mediterranean area who are thrust to take part to ur projects, but unfotunatly few of them are youth exchanges action 3.1.
so, kindly try to use always action 3.1, not 1.1, since we want to meet the other youngsters from europe to talk to them , to know them and their cultures and also to make them have an idea about us,
we need to build bridges between the shores of mediterranean.

Exchange Description:
This Youth Exchange aims to bring together young people from different partner organizations for the promotion of their achievements, reducing the sense of alienation and empowering them with the skills to recognize that they can be active agents of change. This project is based on the results from a co-operation, which started in before and this cooperation is aimed to strengthen the partnership and the achievements and develop the links between EU countries and EECA countries.
Aim and Content:
The goal of this project is to organize teamwork, to meet people, to make cultural and worthwhile activities. Another and not less important aim is to provide support for the EECA countries to involve them into the European life through friendship, cooperation and partnership in future projects made up during this Youth Exchange.
Aims:
· To experience other cultures to increase tolerance as well as to strengthen inter-cultural dialogue.
Objectives:
· To create atmosphere of common understanding between people representing different cultures, working styles, etc
· To sustain and widen existing networks of youth workers and youth leaders; to promote the understanding of and respect for cultural diversity and intercultural co-operation.
Target group:
· Applicant youth leaders, Youth workers, Youth Trainers, Project managers from youth NGOs, Youth Group, Youth Networks, Youth Organisations
· leaders that want to apply in the YOUTH IN ACTION Projects in the future
· Youth NGOs, Youth Group, Youth Networks, Youth Organisations that wants to apply for this project to their National Agency to host it in Baku, Azerbaijan
Conditions:
The training is scheduled for late in May 2008 and will be hosted in Baku, Azerbaijan Republic. Financial support is seeked for under the European Commission's "Youth in Action"-programme granting scheme. If approved, all costs will be covered except for 30% of the international travel and visa costs. Organizations from all 27 EU member countries plus Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland and Turkey, YOUTH IN ACTION PROGRAMME countries are eligible to apply and EECA countries to take part. The working language of this Youth EXCHANGE is English.

A main theme of Partnership – Building activity is making contacts and partnership for future cooperation and together applying for Youth Exchanges and European Voluntary Service projects.
We are looking for partner organization that:
Ø Is located and acts in Member States of European Union (plus Iceland , Liechtenstein , Norway ) or in South East Europe ( Albania , Bosnia and Herzegovina , Croatia , Macedonia and Montenegro )
Ø Has the status of NGO
Ø Is interested in the topic of the project and strong motivation for future cooperation in field of sustainable development
Ø Is able and ready for efficient cooperation and participation in project
Each partner organization will be represented by 3 youth leader/youth worker.
Youth leader/youth worker participating in Partnership Building activity need to:
Ø Be interested in sustainable development
Ø Motivate for future cooperation in field of Sustainable development
Ø Know English (to be able to communicate with other participants)
Ø Actively participate in activity during project
Cost cover by project:
Ø 65 % of actual travel cost from home to the venue of the project. Use of the cheapest means and fares (APEX airfare, 2nd class train ticket, bus)
