HONORS PROGRAM

Incoming freshmen who meet specified criteria of academic excellence are invited to join the University Honors Program. Honors Program members develop an in-depth course of study in conjunction with the program's director and take advantage of the many cultural and social activities offered through the program. Diplomas awarded to Honors students, as well as their transcripts indicate that they have completed this challenging and rewarding program. The prestigious recognition of being acccepted into the Honors Program is accompanied by a Roger Williams University International
Scholarship.

INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

International Presidential Excellence Scholarship $15,000 per year (Number of awards given are limited)

c.. For New Freshmen (1st year students) International Provost's Scholarship $10,000 per year (Number of awards given are limited)
a.. Includes a seat in the Honors Program
b.. Minimum GPA required for consideration- 3.0
c.. For New Freshmn (1st year students) International Achievement Scholarship $8,000 - 10,000 per year (Number of awards given depends upon applicant pool.)

International transfer students who will graduate with an A.A. or A.S. degree from a U.S. two-year institution may qualify for the Roger Williams University Transfer Scholarships. Please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission for more information.

For maximum scholarship consideration, you must submit your Undergraduate Application for Admission by February 1 for Fall Semester and November 1 for Spring Semester. (Your application for admission will also act as your scholarship application. No additional applications are necessary for scholarship consideration.)
