Yggdrasil Mobility Programme

The Yggdrasil mobility programme promotes the internationalisatio n of Norwegian research by offering grants to international Ph.D. students and younger researchers in connection with research stays in Norway.

The programme seeks to make Norway an attractive research destination for highly qualified international Ph.D. students and younger researchers in all subject areas, thus strengthening the Norwegian research communities involved.

This programme/activity normally accepts grant applications from:
- Ph.D. students admitted to an organised doctoral degree programme;
- Younger researchers who completed a Ph.D. degree not more than six years prior to submission of the grant application.

Applicants must be affiliated with a higher education and/or research institution in one of the countries covered under the programme.

Gulliver Connect

A mobility programme through work placements for young and up-coming artists, art managers and cultural operators in Europe.

The Central European Foundation (Bratislava) , Kulturkontakt (Austria) and The Felix Meritis Foundation (Amsterdam) are proud to present a new call for application for work placements in 2008.

Thanks to a large network of cultural organisations throughout Europe and beyond, Gulliver Connect offers hands-on work experience. It's unique ability is to use such an extensive range of host organisations to match the individual talents of young people. And it enables the host organisations to find valuable working partners in future.

The work placements will lead to new professional skills and establish new forms of international co-operation. Both the visitor and the host organisation benefit from each other's working practices. They share information, experiences and ideas, and establish far reaching professional contacts.

By creating a dynamic network Gulliver Connect adds a new dimension to the social, artistic and cultural development of Europe and beyond - a stepping stone for the future co-operation in the arts.

Call for applications 2008

This new call for applications is those who wish to apply as visitors and/or hosts organisations from Albania, Austria, Armenia, Azerbadjian, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia.

Bursaries of approximately 1.500 EUROS each will be available to cover the costs for the work placement, travel, accommodation and daily allowance for the period between 3 - 6 weeks, if feasible within the budget.

The deadline for applications is March 15, 2008. All applicants will be informed by April 15, 2008. The placement will take place from the end of April and before December 2008.
