Once again, the Institute for Humane Studies will be hosting a colloquium-style academic conference for graduate students in economics pursuing liberty-advancing research taking place at Chapman University in Orange, CA on July 10-13.
Continuing IHS' legacy of fostering young intellectual thinking in classical liberal academics, the Research Colloquium allows graduate students to present their research in a conference-style setting to top economics scholars. The colloquium presents a unique opportunity to receive constructive feedback on your coursework papers with an emphasis toward publication readiness.
All applicants are invited to submit a paper proposal for presentation. Paper proposals should address a subject of scholarly significance that draws upon the classical liberal intellectual tradition, explores the significance of human freedom both past and present, or furthers our understanding of the principles and characteristics of a free society.
