Call Ph.D.Plus Scholarships 2011

With Ph.D.Plus Scholarships VLIR-UOS gives the opportunity to PhD degree holders to follow an intensive (refresher) course or conduct intensive scientific activities in a short period of time at a Flemish university and under the supervision of a Flemish promoter with the aim of utilising the acquired knowledge in the local context.

Only nationals from a country on the country list can apply who have not been granted a Ph.D.Plus scholarship from VLIR-UOS yet and who have obtained a Ph.D. degree

- at (preferably but not necessarily) a Flemish university OR at another university but then this must have been in the framework of a VLIR-UOS programme;
- at least 1 year before the start of the Ph.D. Plus scholarship.

Deadline for submission of proposals: 29 November 2010.
