PhD @ NTNU: Control and estimation for distributed- parameter systems

We are seeking candidates with a strong background in systems and control or applied mathematics for research on control and estimation for distributed- parameter systems. While the research topic is initially broad, a specific objective of the project is to develop state- and
parameter estimation schemes for application within medical imaging based on ultrasound.

Experience with medical imaging is therefore an advantage, but not required.
