PhD Research Fellow in Experimental Physics (ref. no.2011/3801) : Norway

2 positions as PhD Research Fellow available at The Department of Physics, University of Oslo. The fellowship is for a period of up to 4 years, with 25 % compulsory work. Starting date no later than October 1, 2011. The teaching must be conducted in one of the Scandinavian languages (preferred) or English. Only candidates with very good communication skills in English will be considered.

DescriptionBoth PhD fellowships are vacant in the field of experimental physics. The successful candidates will be expected to work on projects within one of the research groups of Advanced Materials and Complex Physics, Structure Physics, Physical Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Nuclear Physics,Biophysics and Medical Physics, Experimental Particle Physics or Plasma- and Space Physics.
