Task description
You will be working in the development and implementation of statistical methodology for design and conduct of studies in human and animal health and nutrition.
You will travel regularly to the location of external partners, responsible for designing and conducting studies in these areas.
You will effectively communicate with academic and industrial colleagues in multidisciplinary environments.
Profile
Be intrinsically motivated, think analytically and creatively, work in an organised and focused manner.
Enjoy working in an multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
Excellent knowledge of the English language and good scientific writing skills.
Experience in the design and analysis of experiments and the statistical analysis thereof.
Experience in the use of statistical software such as SAS, S-Plus, R, StatXact, etc.
Diploma
Phd in (Bio-)Statistics.
Employment
The appointment takes effect from 16/06/2011, for a period of 1 year, possibly extendable conditional on a positive evaluation and sufficient project funding.
