"The Role of Young Economists of Eastern and Central Europe in Economic Development"

Non-governmental organization - Students Union of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University with the sponsorship of Georgian private companies and organizations organizes an international conference-work shop "The Role of Young Economists of Eastern and Central Europe in Economic Development". Conference organizers invite students, young scientists and business executives from Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Russia, Baltic Countries, South Caucasus, Eastern, Central and South European
countries. Conference Dates are 23rd -27th February 2006.

The idea behind the conference is building community connections between the young economists and practitioners who will possess the levers of ruling their own countries and they will be key policymakers in future. We do believe that the basis of economic and trade relations between nations is primarily based on personal contacts. The conference will bring closer the relevant communities and lay the fundaments of future economic cooperation. Besides, these communities will exchange their ideas and unique knowledge in their relevant fields. We believe that this conference will have instant short-term effects as well long-term, sustainable outcome for our country's economic development. The conference will open in Tbilisi and on 25th it will continue in Borjomi-Likani governmental residence, every day after meetings there will be intercultural evenings.

Financial arrangements:
Organizers of the conference will offer participants accommodation and food.
Visa and travel expenses of the participants will not be covered.
