Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunity

The Solomon Asch Center for Study of Ethnopolitical Conflict (http://www.psych. upenn.edu/ sacsec) at the University of Pennsylvania is accepting applications for an Andrew W. Mellon Sawyer Seminar Postdoctoral Fellowship on power-sharing in deeply divided places.

The Fellowship begins July 1, 2007 and ends June 30, 2008; it includes a stipend of $35,000 plus health insurance and roundtrip travel. Duties will include research on projects that are the focus of the application, assistance with management of the Sawyer seminar series, and active participation in the intellectual life of the Center.

To be eligible for the Fellowship, candidates must have submitted their dissertation for examination by July 1, 2007. Applicants should send a CV, two letters of
recommendation (flap sealed and signed by recommender) , and a statement describing the intended research project.
