6. Honors & Scholars opportunities
The University Honors Program offers an enriched academic experience through the integration of curricular and extracurricular activities. Honors students can choose from more than 500 Honor classes taught by select faculty, live in one of four specially designed residence halls, and pursue original research under the guidance of a faculty member. The Ohio State Scholars Program gives students the chance to meet and live with other students who share academic interests and career goals. International Undergraduate Scholarship
The Ohio State University is committed to enrolling a diverse and talented student population. This scholarship is offered to qualified full-time, Columbus campus international freshmen (students who have not attended university since graduating from high school/secondary school) who are required to pay the nonresident tuition surcharge. Transfer students are not eligible for this award.
Eligibility
This award is offered on a competitive basis to admitted international freshmen with ACT composite scores of 26 or higher or combined SAT Critical Reading and Math scores of 1190 or higher.
Award
$6,600 ($26,400 four-year value); this award is renewable provided the recipient continues to pay the nonresident tuition surcharge, maintains a 2.5 or higher grade point average, and makes satisfactory academic progress.

Ohio State graduate fellowships and associateships are the primary resource of financial assistance provided to graduate students. This type of financial support includes tuition, fees, and a stipend. Approximately 55 percent of graduate students receive Ohio State graduate fellowships or assistanships.
