Department of the University of Zurich invites applications for
Postdoctoral Research Position in Organic Chemistry
The position is available immediately. The Labor fur Prozessforschung is a unique joint venture between the Organic Chemistry Institute of the University of Zurich and a generic API company, AZAD Pharma AG. It provides postdocs with one to two years of training in industrial process research and development, including GMP compliance. By fulfilling the requirements for the scale-up and transfer of processes
to our pilot plant, as well transfer of this technology to contract manufacturers, the postdocs at the Labor fur Prozessforschung become familiar with current industrial practice.
We are searching for Ph. D. Chemists with substantial:
- knowledge and experimental experience in organic chemical synthesis
- knowledge of analytical (HPLC, GC) and spectroscopic (NMR) methods
- awareness of MS Office and computer-based literature research techniques (Sci-finder, Beilstein)
- fluency in English
We provide the successful candidate with:
- access to a state-of-the- art R+D laboratory in a university setting
