CfP: Philological Studies

Philological Studies is a Slavistic magazine in the field of humanistic sciences. It is a result of the inter-university collaboration among the Philological Faculty at the Perm State University, the Philosophical Faculty at the University of Ljubljana, the Institute of Macedonian Literature at the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje and the Philosophical Faculty at the University of Zagreb.

Philological Studies offers a wide spectrum of scientific researches in the fields of: philosophy, literature, history and linguistics in its already well known rubrics: Philosophical- Cultural Problems; History and Philology; The ‘word’ in historical-cultural contexts (comparative aspects); Contemporary Society in Culture, Language and Literature; The Study of Speech. Linguodidactics and Reviews.

Information.
It is published annually in two volumes in four languages (Macedonian, Russian, Slovenian and Croatian).

Propositions for submission of articles:
I. Articles are to be arranged in the following rubrics:
1) Philosophic and Cultural Matters;
2) History and Philology;
3) Word in Historical and Cultural Context. Comparative Aspect;
4) Literature in intercultural context;
5) Modern Socio in Culture, Language and Literature;
6) Study of Word. Linguodidactics;
7) Reviews

II. Scope of the articles should be less than 8-10 pgs.A5 format, Microsoft Word for Windows, font 10, Times New Roman, Margins 2 cm, line spacing 1.0. After the text, a list of all cited sources is added in alphabetical order, as follows:
author's second name. name. year of edition. title of monograph (article). (journal). editor. city. (journal No) No of pages.
Ex. Baslar. Gaston. 1997. Water and the Dreams. Tabernakul: Skopje.
Besier. Zan. 2007. Some notes on comparative literature. in Literary Context. Institute for Macedonian Literature: Skopje. No 5. p. 5-11.
The text contains in bracket (author’s second name, year of edition: No of pages)

III. The text is submitted in printing and electronic form to the following address:

V. At the end of the article a summary in English language is included (0,5-1 pgs.)

4. Scientific degree, title.
5. Title of article. Rubric of journal.
6. Postal address.
7. Fax.

VII. The deadline for submission of texts is 30 April 2009. The texts are to be classified, proofread and arranged for printing.
