The University of Minnesota graduate program in Applied Economics has an exciting funding opportunity for students entering our PhD program beginning Academic Year 2009 -2010. CHS Graduate Fellowship
The CHS Fellowship was established by the CHS Foundation. CHS Foundation is an independent, private foundation, associated with CHS public affairs. The CHS fellowship provides an annual award to full time graduate students studying digital information systems, web-based delivery and decision-making tools, farm management, or disciplines applicable to cooperatives and agribusiness. The student must be enrolled in the Applied Economics graduate program and will be expected to maintain a relationship with appropriate personnel at CHS. The award is renewable while the student is pursuing a degree.

The selection of the CHS fellow is made by the Director of Graduate Studies in Applied Economics Graduate Program in cooperation with the Department Head of Applied Economics. This selection will be made according to the guidelines established by the CHS Fellow program as well as the admission and academic criteria of the Applied Economics Graduate Program. Candidates will be identified in Spring 2009 with expected enrollment in the Applied Economics graduate program starting Fall 2009.
