LOCATION: Albania.
INSTITUTIONAL TYPE: University.
VACANCY TYPE: Lecturer, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor.
STARTING DATE: No later than February 15, 2009.
WEEKLY TEACHING LOAD: Ideally 12 but no more than 15 lecture hours in 2-4 different courses).
SALARY: Commensurate to Rank plus relocation benefits (upon eligibility) . [Gross: 1551 € - 2,250 € per month]. Return air-fare ticket to be reimbursed.
Responsibilities: Teach academic writing to non-native speakers, mainly Composition I & II, Advanced Research & Writing, and Advanced Business English and some administrative work.
Key Qualifications: Minimally an MA in English and preferably a native English speaker. Prior teaching experience at university/college level is a major advantage. Graduate courses in composition and experience in teaching composition at an undergraduate or post-graduate level are preferred.
