DSW is looking for an intern to join its small team in Brussels. The position will be for a period of six months from July through December 2006.
Essentially, the internship will consist of supporting the team in their advocacy work, representative work and doing administrative tasks. For instance, monitoring development in EU institutions policy, preparing biweekly updates etc.
The main focus of the internship will be agreed later based on the candidate's background, skills and interests.
The candidate should:
* have a strong interest in developments and health issues
* have excellent communication skills and be diplomatic
* have an excellent command of English and German
* have a good knowledge of EU institutions and its workings
* be able to work within a small, but dynamic team.
Transportation will be reimbursed, and some lunch money would be provided.
