USA: International Science Frontiers Program for Teenagers

International Science Frontiers
Science program for teenagers

International Science Frontiers, a new program of Youth Impact International, brings select students together with top world-class American universities for a 3 week long exploration of the sciences. Exceptional students aged 13 through 19 will be exposed to a broad range of scientific disciplines (oceanography, space science, nanotechnology, environmental sciences, robotics and more) through lectures, experiments, simulations, and tours of scientific facilities.

Students participating in the project will be from developing communities, within the US or abroad, and will have demonstrated outstanding ability or interest in the sciences. Leadership courses will also be included in the program to increase the students' ability to lead in their chosen field when returning to these developing communities.

Forty students will be hosted each month and will experience 4 to 5 programs ranging from 2 to 5 days each in length. One to two sessions are available per month and sessions are run throughout the calendar year. Some of the partners for this year include the NASA Space Center, University of California at Berkeley, Brown University, and University of South Florida.

Costs
Find the program cost at www.youthimpactint.org/isf/. Program fees include all housing, meals and academic materials. Transportation to and from the program is also included in the program. All students from international locations will need an exchange visa J-1. See our website for more information for international students.

Financial Assistance

We provide information and assistance on how you can raise funds for yourself, and we also provide tuition assistance to in-need students. Please see our website www.youthimpactint.org/isf/ for more information. Because the program is focused on students in developing communities, all financial assistance is need-based.
