Perspectives on (Un-) Employment

The interdisciplinary Ph.D. workshop is intended to bring together Ph.D. students from different countries working on topics related to different perspectives on employment research. The workshop will provide an opportunity for young researchers to present and to discuss their research in a constructive and international atmosphere. Besides other young researchers experienced researchers will attend the workshop to provide feedback and advice to the participants. Papers to be presented may source from different disciplines. The focus of the workshop will be on empirical
work from the following fields of employment research:
- Institutions and labour market policies
- Skills and qualification
- Migration
The IAB Graduate School
The “Graduate Studies in Employment Research” is a joint programme of the School of Business and Economics of the University Erlangen-Nuremberg and the Institute for Employment Research (IAB). The programme offers a curriculum of different doctoral courses. The doctoral students work in the field of empirical and theoretical labour market research.
