CfP: 3rd Konitsa Summer School in the Anthropology of the Balkans

The Konitsa Summer School organising committee is pleased to announce that
applications are now being accepted for the 3rd "Summer School in Anthropology, Ethnography and Comparative Folklore of the Balkans".

3rd Konitsa Summer School in Anthropology, Ethnography and Comparative Folklore of the Balkans Konitsa, Greece, 27/7-9/8/2008

The Konitsa Summer School is organised by the University of Ioannina in collaboration with "Border Crossings" network of universities and the Municipality of Konitsa, Greece.

The 2006 and 2007 Summer Schools were attended by 180 students from 27 countries and 65 universities from Europe, Asia and America. Guest speakers included Maurice Godelier, Jane Cowan, Thomas Hylland Eriksen, Kirsten Hastrup, Rajko Mursic, Dimitra Gefou-Madianou and Eftichia Voutira.
