*First Announcement: Call for applications for 8th Leadership Course on Gender, Sexuality, and Health in Southeast Asia and China*

Dear Colleagues,

The Consortium is calling for applications for the 8th Leadership Course. This 19-day course aims to provide the participants with context-specific and gender-sensitive knowledge on sexuality and health in Southeast Asia and China. Special attention will be devoted to exploring how gender and sexuality conceptual frameworks and methodological approaches can be applied to enhance health outcomes in the region. This regional training course is organized annually, with the host institution rotating among the members of the Consortium. This year the Center for Health Policy Studies, Mahidol University, Thailand will host the training course.

*Venue & Dates*

21 September to 10 October, 2009
Nakhon Pathom, THAILAND

*Fees*

US$ 3,900 covers tuition*, *accommodation and meals, course materials, field trips, living expenses and certificate of completion.

*Fee excludes local travel expenses, visas, and insurance.

*Scholarships*

A limited number of partial and full scholarships are provided by the Consortium. Applicants are strongly encouraged to seek funding from other sources.
