Scholarship: Fellowships at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy, Harvard UniversityDeadline: February 27, 2009Open to: scholars and practitioners The Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University is pleased toannounce the availability of five 10-month fellowships for scholars andpractitioners starting in September 2009.
These fellowships are designed to attract a diversity of human rightsscholars and practitioners to join our team and work at the Carr Center. Thefollowing 10-month fellowships will be available, some with a specific topicor requirements in mind:
* Two positions open under the Carr Center for Human Rights PolicyFellowships to undertake a topic of the fellow's choice.
* One fellowship for those with specific interests in human trafficking andmodern slavery issues, as part of the Carr Center Initiative to Stop HumanTrafficking.
* With a Middle East emphasis, the recently created Gebran G. Tueni HumanRights Fellowship opens the opportunity for two fellows coming from theLebanon and/or Iraq.
All these fellowships are specific in funding, eligibility and expectations.
