Job: LGID seeks experts for for a major EU - IPA project

LGID Develpoment LTD, is a not-for-profit company of the Open Society Network is currently seeking short and long-term experts for a European Commission funded project titled "Capacity Building for the Civil Society in IPA Countries".This multi-beneficiary program was identified under the Civil Society Facility's strand to "Support to civic initiatives and capacity-building" , enforcing the role of civil society at local, national level. The general objective of this project is to strengthen the overall capacities and accountability of Civil Society Organisation (CSOs) within IPA beneficiaries and to guarantee the quality of services of CSOs and a sustainable role of CSOs in the democratic process. Target groups are CSOs, their staff and their counterparts/ stakeholders, principally public authorities. The beneficiary countries include Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia as well as Kosovo and Turkey.

LGID, as member of a shortlisted consortium is looking for consultants and trainers working with civil society organisations in the following areas:

(1) Advocacy/lobbying, mediation and negotiation;
(2) Public Relations and Communication;
(3) Membership and network building;
(4) Fundraising and financial sustainability;
(5) (Project) Management (financial, organisation, etc);
(6) Human rights;
(7) Support to marginalised/ disadvantaged persons, and;
(8) Socio-economic partners.
