We designed these programs for students seeking graduate professional degrees, and we have created specific opportunities for exceptionally talented graduating seniors who have majors or minors in technical fields. We believe students would benefit from the accelerated career opportunities our programs offer.
The Lally School focuses on the strategic management of technology and on creating value to society through innovation and entrepreneurial thinking. We believe that creative thinkers who can understand and manage new technologies will be the leaders of tomorrow's business enterprises and the creators of sustainable development for societal benefit. They will be the leaders who will change the world. Building on the technological and analytical heritage of RPI, the Lally School offers graduate programs that are distinctive in scope. Several of our graduate programs may interest the young professionals with whom you work who have backgrounds in mathematics, science, or engineering.
· The MBA Program offers students the flexibility to combine academic study across disciplines at RPI. Lally students will follow a curriculum of core management courses designed around the innovative culture at Rensselaer, and also be able to choose from a variety of concentrations and specializations. Concentration options include Entrepreneurship and Technology Management, Finance, and Global Enterprise Management, as well as Information Systems and Operations Management, and Marketing and New Product Development. Students may specialize even more deeply into a particular discipline, including Biotechnology, Health Management, Energy and the Environment, or Technology Commercialization and Tech transfer, all of which capitalize on the unique strengths of Rensselaer.
· Within the MBA program, we offer a Pathfinder MBA track designed specifically for recent college graduates with engineering, science or mathematics degrees. This small, highly selective program offers high-potential students the opportunity to earn an MBA degree immediately following their bachelor's degree.
· Our MS degree in Technology Commercialization and Entrepreneurship (TC&E) is designed to prepare a new generation of technological entrepreneurs, who will combine an in-depth knowledge of technology with a fundamental understanding of enterprise creation, management, and the process of technology commercialization. This unique,
multi-disciplinary program is a collaboration between the Lally School, 11 Rensselaer science and engineering departments, and Albany Law School.
· Our MS degree in Financial Engineering and Risk Analytics (FERA) provides students with the knowledge and skills to respond to the challenges that characterize the fast-changing world of Financial Technology. This distinctive interdisciplinary program is a cooperation between Lally's Finance faculty and RPI's departments of Computer science, IT, Applied Math, Economics, and Decision Sciences and Engineering Sciences (DSES). Students master finance theory and advanced analytical techniques that are key to excelling in the rapidly evolving world of finance and financial policy.
