The detailed programme will be available here shortly. Online registration will be open soon. The Bauhaus Summer Academy is an event organised by the Bauhaus-Universitä t Weimar which provides an international meeting forum for students, graduates and professionals from Germany and abroad. Language programmes as well as academic
projects give participants the opportunity to engage in intercultural exchange, as well as acquiring linguistic or specialised skills. The varied cultural and social programme provides a framework within which a special atmosphere can develop every year.

This features tandem learning with 200 participants from all over the world and 200 German students, who can discover something new and open their eyes to other cultures. Weimar not only is the city of Goethe and Schiller, but also of Nietzsche, Liszt and many other leading figures of German and European intellectual history who left their marks in Weimar. Weimar has a fascinating past and – in spite of being
a small town with 65,000 inhabitants – is nonetheless interesting today, offering numerous cultural institutions and events. Last but not least, Weimar is the home of the Bauhaus. Today the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar tries to revitalise and reinterpret the Bauhaus idea of unity of art and technology.
