Call for Applications

The CFCCS (Center for Comparative Conflict Studies) at the Faculty of Media and Communications (FMK), Singidunum University invites you to apply for the Summer School in Comparative Conflict Studies. The 2010 Summer School will run from 20th -27th June and will take place at the facilities of the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade.

We are offering three courses to choose from: language of instruction in all courses is English.

* Managing Violent Pasts: The Case of Northern Ireland

Dr. Marie Breen-Smyth

* Dilemmas of National Minorities: The Case of the Palestinian Citizens of Israel

Dr. Abigail Jacobson

* After the Violence: The Break Up of Yugoslavia and its Consequences

Dr. Aleksandra (Sasha) Milicevic

We invite undergraduate, graduate students, NGO leaders and activists from all countries to apply.

With the support of the Robert Bosch Stiftung, scholarships are available for participants from Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. Additional scholarships are available for a number of students from other conflict or post-conflict regions.
