Available for a suitably qualified candidate to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in cellular and molecular biology; the project is to investigate the role of the protein frataxin in the metabolism of iron in the mitochondrion; valued at the same rate as an APA or higher, depending upon the applicant academic performance and standing; up to 3 years; applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of Australia.
