Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Secretariat of Istanbul International Model United Nations Conference from T.C. Istanbul University, Faculty of Law and the co-hosting team from T.C. Maltepe University, it is my pleasure to invite you and your friends to Istanbul International Model United Nations 2007. This year, the conference will be held in T.C. Maltepe University from July 23rd to July 27th, 2007.
42 days are left for Istanbul International Model United Nations 2007. REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN FOR IIMUN 2007! You can now register to be a delegate. Please note that all university students are welcome to the conference!
IIMUN will have the basic properties of MUN conferences: the structure, the rules of procedure and the agenda will resemble the United Nation’s original ones. Positions of the secretariat, delegations and chairmen will be held by students. IIMUN aims to expand the cultural empathy and unite students from different nations, while they attain knowledge about the current international affairs. IIMUN will also be the first annual conference held in two continents.
It is often said that Model United Nations simulations brings together tomorrow’s leadersâ€"and it is my sincere hope that the 2007 edition of the Istanbul International Model United Nations will remain a significant point in the lives of all our delegates.
