The English Language Teaching Institute (ELT Institute), Hunter College of the City University of New York, is a program for experienced English Language and modern language teachers, and those who are, or wish to become, trainers. We offer short, continuing professional development seminars both in New York City and at institutions around the world.
Each week offers a choice of two seminar topics. Our Spring program precedes the International TESOL conference which is being held in NYC this year. It will meet for 12 hours on Monday and Tuesday. Summer seminars meet for 15 hours on four mornings and two afternoons.
