CfA: Lake Victoria Residence Art Centre, Kenya

Lake Victoria special arts initiative Kenya has opened a new artist-en-residency programme this year. They are currently calling for proposals and applications from individuals and groups of all disciplines for a one month residency. It is open throughout the year by application to the artistic director.

Lake Victoria arts centre has two residencies opportunities: one in rural Kenya on the lakeside and another one in Nairobi, Kasarani. Any artist, academic, researcher, writer, artlover is welcome to apply to the director and the outcome will be sent to the applicant in two weeks time. At the end of the stay the artist is expected to showcase his or her works to the community. They provide food and accommodations.
