Andrónico Luksic Abaroa Fellowships for Croatia - Harvard University

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS - EXECUTIVE EDUCATION FELLOWSHIPS
Deadline: 29 August (for programs September 2010 - January 2011)

As an opportunity for professional enrichment, Luksic Fellowships provide tuition grants to enable senior executives from Croatia's public sector to participate in Executive Education programs at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government (HKS).

Led by prominent Harvard faculty, Executive Education offers experienced professionals more than two dozen programs that address the most pressing issues in public leadership today. The programs involve a renowned faculty and a dynamic curriculum that focuses on practical solutions for real-world problems.

Executive programs vary in length from three days to one month. Programs include, among others: Leaders in Development: Senior Managers in Government; Driving Government Performance: Leadership Strategies That Produce Results; Innovations in Governance; Infrastructure in a Market Economy: Public-Private Partnerships in a Changing World; Public Financial Management.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Public sector practitioners interested in a course that takes place between September 2010 and January 2011 are eligible to apply for a Luksic Fellowship to cover the tuition. To apply:

1. Complete an application for a course via the HKS Executive Education Web site: http://ksgexecprogram.harvard.edu/
2. Forward a CV to the HKS Luksic Fellowships Selection Committee at luksic_fellowships@hks.harvard.edu, noting the specific executive course to which you applied

HKS Executive Education will inform the Luksic Fellowships Committee of the application decision. Should the candidate be accepted into an executive program, the Luksic Fellowships Selection Committee will consider his/her request for a fellowship and contact the candidate when the decision is finalized.

The Andr€ ¦ónico Luksic Abaroa Fellowships were established in 2006 to advance Croatia's public interest by providing educational opportunities for the country's human capital at Harvard University. The Fellowships honor the life and legacy of Andrónico Luksic Abaroa, a visionary Croatian-Chilean leader and entrepreneur.

The Luksic Fellowships are based at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government (HKS). Through its dedication to promoting innovative and effective governance, HKS has set global standards in training leaders for public service since its inception in 1936.
