The Scandinavian Society for Iranian Studies invites proposals for the 1st Triennial Iranian Studies Conference in all subfields of Iranian studies. SSIS encourages works that probe new scholarly approaches to Iranian Studies. The primary language of the conference will be English, but proposals for papers in Scandinavian languages will be considered.
The three conference panels are:
1. Language & Literature
2. History & Politics
3. Religion, Ethnicity & Gender
Paper proposals must be limited to 300 words and must present succinct scholarly outlines of the central themes and main arguments of the presentations. Length of presentations is 20 minutes.
