Postdoc on social network analysis, Univ. of Maryland, College Park

I am looking for a postdoc to work on social network analysis at the University of Maryland, College Park, starting on or around January 2012. The postdoc will work on problems related to fast computations of different types of centrality measures in very large social networks (hundreds of millions of nodes, 10B+ edges), as well as the methods to learn diffusivion models of various phenomena in very large networks.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in computer science with strong theoretical and implementation skills. Theoretical skills should include complexity analysis, approximation algorithms, and probabilistic reasoning.
