The Faculty of Social Sciences invites applications for two fully-funded PhD Charter Studentships commencing January 2012 within the Department of Social Policy and Criminology. These studentships will be allied with the ESRC-funded research project Enduring Love?
Couple relationships in the 21st century. Research undertaken is, therefore, expected to link to this project. Full details are available at: www.enduringlove.co.uk.
Charter Studentship 1: the focus of research undertaken by this Studentship should address a dimension of the central research topic of the Enduring Love project; that is experiences of long-term couple relationships in contemporary Britain.
Charter Studentship 2: this Studentship is being funded in collaboration with Relate , the UK relationship counselling service; applications should be focused on the provision and experience of relationship support.
