Université de Genève, September 20 - October 26, 2012 Application deadline: Oct 26, 2012 Postdoc Teaching Position Université de Genève (Geneva, Switzerland) A three-year postdoc teaching position in the history of modern and/or contemporary art is open at the Université de Genève (Geneva, Switzerland), starting on February 1, 2013. Teaching is in French and includes 2 courses (in principle one BA seminar and one MA seminar) per semester on chosen topics in the history of art from the 19th to the 21st centuries. In addition to a PhD in art history and a sufficient command of French, candidates should have a teaching experience at University level and a publication record, as well as a research project for a second book. The position is not tenure-track but meant to help the selected candidate prepare for applying to a tenure-track or tenured position in another institution. The yearly salary is between CHF98,832 and CHF98,080.
