The Graduate School of Social Sciences (GSSS)at the University of Bremen invites applications to its 3-year Ph.D. program from October 1, 2007 to September 30, 2010. The GSSS offers 9 stipends for Ph.D. fellows of ˆ 1000/month for 36 months, contingent on successful completion of each year.
Funding is also available for empirical research and travel. There are three thematic elds of the GSSS: Transnational Relations and Political Theory; Welfare State Transformation; Social Change and the Life Course. Foreign students are encouraged to apply.
