Master of Arts in Economics
The Master of Arts in Economics program is committed to high-quality graduate instruction. The program can be completed in one calendar year if a student is fully prepared at entry. Selectivity in admission and quality instruction have resulted in a degree completion rate in excess of 90 percent. In a typical year, four to eight Fulbright Scholars are enrolled in the program.

The program is large enough to provide a wide selection of classes yet small enough to provide individual attention. To provide additional flexibility and a wider selection of courses, students may take up to 12 hours of noneconomics courses when pursuing one of the following advisory tracks:

- Business
- Pre-Ph.D.
- Public Service and Government
- International Economics
- Community/Economic Development
- Entrepreneurial Economics
