The Global Environmental Measurements group at the Department of Radio and Space Science seeks a PhD student to work with data from the Swedish led Odin satellite and the ESA ENVISAT instruments. The project will involve both data analysis and modelling work with emphasis on the isotopic composition of water vapour in the
stratosphere. This position is funded by the Swedish National Space Board for a period of 4 years extendable to 5 years if departmental work is carried out. Salary according to Chalmers standard. Candidates should have 4 years of university studies with a good physics / chemistry background and preferably experience of the atmospheric sciences. Women are strongly under represented in Swedish Space science and we therefore are happy to receive applications from female candidates.
