We are inviting Romanian NGOs to apply to the annual session of the Forum for the Future Democracy, co-organised and hosted by the Council of Europe and Sweden which will take place from* 13 to 15 June 2007 in Stockholm/Sigtuna, Sweden.*
The central theme of the 2007 session of the Forum will focus on: "*power and empowerment - the interdependence of democracy and human rights"*
One of the main objectives of the Forum session is to ensure that the participants play a role in determining the agenda and the direction of the sub-theme debates. Please refer to the background note to see the subject of the sub-themes and the structure of the Forum session.
The candidate should have experience in one or more of the subject areas proposed in the programme of the Forum session and* must be fluent in English or French*.
The Council of Europe will cover travel costs and subsistence expenses for a limited number of candidates.
