The aim of this Summer School is to familiarize the students with modern state-of-the- art methods in modeling carbohydrates and proteins present in lipid membrane systems. Better modeling of sugars and proteins is essential in being able to describe biological systems and processes, yet these systems pose significant challenges due to their complexity.
In this Summer School we focus on these issues and discuss the latest developments in modeling them. Target audience: senior
undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs in biomolecular modeling in physics, chemistry, and related fields.
