“EUROPEAN CONVENTION ON HUMAN RIGHTS”

Venue: Mavrovo, Republic of Macedonia
Date: 22-25 November 2007

This is a four-day academic conference which deals with the purpose, the main articles and the way of use and interpretation of the European Convention of Human Rights. During the lectures and the workshops, the participants will be able to discuss the human rights, the ways of their protection and violation and also they will be able to get to know one of the most efficient ways of protection of the human rights at a European level – the European Court of Human Rights.

The lecturers at this conference will be highly respected professionals in the sphere of human rights (both from the field of legal theory and legal practice).
The workshops are planned to be a constructive follow-ups of the lectures, where the participants will be able to express their own opinion and experience. They will also be able to ask questions and to discuss the above-mentioned topics with their fellow-participants and also with the lecturers.

During this event the participants will also be able to experience the picturesque landscape of Macedonia and they are going to enjoy some of the Macedonian traditional cuisine and an amazing night-life!
