The Essex Opportunity Scholarship

The University of Essex is keen to offer students from Romania the opportunity to study at one of the UK’s leading academic institutions. We are aware that students from Romania can find the cost of living in the UK higher than in their home country and are therefore offering a scholarship of € 1,000 per year to all Romanian students. We hope that this scholarship will help contribute to the living costs of studying in the UK.

An Essex Opportunity Scholarship is available to any Romanian student who meets the initial entry requirements of the University and is made an offer of a place at the University for an undergraduate or postgraduate taught course. Undergraduate students must apply through UCAS and hold Essex as their firm choice institution.
There is no application process; students will automatically receive the scholarship after registration at the University. Further details about the scholarship, including full eligibility and terms and conditions, are available on the website: www.essex.ac. uk/prospective/ finance/scholars hips/opportunity .html
