PhD position in Signal Processing at the Department of Information Technology, Division of Systems and Control, Uppsala Univ, Sweden

At the Division of Systems and Control, methodological research is conducted in the areas of estimation, system identification, signal processing, spectral analysis, fault detection, and automatic control. More applied research areas are within wireless communications, radar and synthetic aperture radar, modelling and control of mechanical systems, process control, environment, and medicine.

We are now recruiting a PhD student who will be active in research projects of both theoretical and practical character. The main focus will be on statistical signal processing in general and more specifically on spectral analysis. The main application areas are signal processing for advanced radar, astronomical data mining, biomedical image analysis or genomic signal processing, depending on the interest of the student.
