Ahead of the upcoming U.S. presidential election, the symposium will examine the strategic relationship between the United States and the Central and East European states (CEE) for the purpose of generating concrete policy recommendations for the incoming U.S. administration. The conference will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at CSIS in Washington, D.C.
This timely event will feature representatives from the two U.S. presidential candidates (Republican and Democrat), and the participation of diaspora leaders, regional experts, analysts, business representatives, scholars, and the media.
