CfP: CEU PSJ Special Issue - The Internet and Politics

Just as the internet has transformed the worlds of information and communication so too is the internet changing the political world. Whether employed as a driver for funding a Presidential race, a low cost media machine for fringe groups, a space for bringing supporters together or even when harnessed as a tool of political propaganda, the Internet is changing the way politics is practiced and, as a result, having a marked impact on what political scientists choose to focus their research upon.

In recognition of this impact, in Winter 2010/11 the CEU Political Science Journal will publish a special issue devoted the impact of the internet on politics and political science. All articles which examine the nexus between the internet and politics or the internet and political science are welcome. Authors should ensure that their submissions are original contributions and should not be under consideration for any other publication at the same time. Full guidelines for the presentation of the papers are available at the Central European University Political Science Journal’s website (http://www.ceu.hu/node/5728).

Authors should send their article directly to guest editor Dylan Kissane (CEFAM, France) by email (dylan.kissane@laposte.net) before the deadline of 1 June 2010.
