CfA: Arab Fund for Arts and Culture - Grants in arts/film/literature

The Arab Fund for Arts & Culture (AFAC) aims at stimulating and supporting artistic creativity and freedom of cultural expression in the Arab World. AFAC is a nonprofit organization providing direct financial assistance to independent artists and cultural institutions across the Arab region. It invites individuals, NGOs, cultural and educational organizations, governmental bodies and private companies working in culture and arts in the Arab World to send in project proposals in the fields of:

1. Independent Filmmaking
2. Performing Arts
3. Visual Arts
4. Literature
5. Research
6. Workshops and capacity building.

Application should be completed in Arabic and sent as of April 1st and no later than August 31st, 2010 to: apply@arabculturefu nd.org
