Slippery Rock University offers partial tuition waiver scholarships to all international students qualifying for admission. A separate application form is not necessary at the time of admission, but will be required each year of subsequent enrollment.
For undergraduate students, the tuition waiver is valued at $5,555 for the first academic year ($2,777.50 per semester). Thereafter, tuition waivers are awarded per semester at varying levels based on the cumulative grade point average.
For post-baccalaureate students (those who have already earned the equivalent of a U.S. Bachelor's degree, but are still pursuing undergraduate studies), the tuition waiver is currently valued at $3,611 for the first academic year. Thereafter, the tuition waiver is awarded per semester and is based on the cumulative grade point average.
International students are eligible to work on campus. Current wages are about $7.25/hour. Students can work up to 20 hours per week when classes are in session and up to 37.5 hours over summer break and holiday periods. On campus employment is not guaranteed.
