Merit Scholarship Program at Rider University

RIDER UNIVERSITY

In order to recognize academically talented international applicants, Rider University has recently instituted a merit scholarship program especially for international students. Those who plan to enroll as an F-1 student and who have attended an American or International school outside of the United States or a recognized secondary school within the United States may qualify for scholarships ranging from $6,000 to $15,000 annually.

To qualify for these merit-based scholarships, students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, and at least a 1000 combined score on the SAT exam.
F-1 students who have attended local schools outside of the United States may qualify for up to $3,000 annually. To qualify for these scholarships, students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale as determined by the Office of Admission.

All students must be regularly admissible to the university. Applicants who submit their completed application for admission by June 1 are automatically considered for merit scholarships. Although no separate application is required in order to be considered for merit scholarships, all applicants who wish to enroll at Rider University as F-1 or J-1 students must still complete the Financial Resource Statement and submit supporting financial documentation.
